Well this past weekend we have had some sick kids at our house. And as most of you already know....that is no fun. It all started on Friday when Sophia threw up her bottle. I didn't really think much of it till she did it again a couple hours later, even tho it wasn't that much. She just wanted mommmy and for me to hold her all day so she could sleep. She seemed fine otherwise till that evening she started to get messy diapers....bad. Saturday I decided to run to Omaha with Breanna, Natalie, and Kinzie to finish up some X-Mas shopping. Everything was fine until Breanna was whining that she was hungry around 12:30pm. So we decided to make one fast stop then go eat. Well on the way to that stop Breanna ended up throwing up alittle on herself and Kinzie started freaking out because she hates it when people throw up. So I cleaned Breanna up and changed her into the new outfit I bought her at The Gap (thank god I bought that). We went to Runza to eat because we wanted to go some where fast. Breanna ate a few bites of her chicken strips and half an ice cream, so I thought she was feeling better but I was wrong. Natalie wanted to make a couple more stops real fast which was fine. Well on our way to the second stop breanna started crying, Natalie grabbed a bag and Breanna started throwing up. I felt so bad....good thing for the bags tho. Breanna threw up one more time before she fell asleep and Natalie drove home. We got home and she probably threw up till about 8:30pm and laid on the couch the rest of the day. I wish she didn't have to go thru that because it is no fun at all. . She went to bed and slept all night. Breanna ended up throwing up Sunday morning but I think it was because she drank a lot of water and her stomach was still empty and sensitive. After that she was fine and running around.
As for Sophia, she countinued to have messy diapers all weekend. I even called the nurse a couple of times to see if I was doing everything alright. I decided to take Monday off from daycare just to make sure everyone was feeling better. Also I took Sophia to the Dr. just to be sure and they said it was just a virus and to keep giving her pedialyte. The Dr. also said that there is a bad virus hitting David City bad. TJ ended up not feeling good...but me, I feel fine...knock on wood. It's so hard to stay healthy this time of year but we have been lucky until this year.
Both girls are fine and back to themselves now. And I am thankful we didn't get it over X-Mas and I am also thankful they got sick at the same time. So I hope we don't get any other nasty bugs like that and I hope your familys don't as well!!
I'll probably post new pictures after X-Mas!! Have a Merry Christmas....stay warm!

Sophia was in a very silly mood the other night
And then Breanna had to join in on the fun
I know this gross but I had to take a picture. Sophia had a massive explosion the other day, as you can see she needed a bath right away. Luckily she don't get those that often!!! I'm sorry it's so gross!! LOL
Sophia was crawling around the house with her sippy cup like this. I guess it's her own way to get around and bring her cup with her.
Breanna (with stickers on her face) visiting her new baby cousin, Tayja. She is such a little mommy when she holds babies!

Sophia entertaining us with the microphone
I think Cash was getting tired, he needed his blanket!
I was trying to take the girls pics for xmas cards this year, but as you can see by these few pictures I had a hard time with Sophia. She either wouldn't look or smile after the picture was taken. Little stinker
