Yes that's right we have some sick kids again! Oh and I'm not only meaning my two girls but my daycare kids too. These last couple of weeks have been the worst. First off Sophia has a really bad ear infection in her left ear and a slight one in her right. So she got on some antibiotics right away. I couldn't tell she had an ear infection because she didn't pull at her ears and she wasn't extra crabby. To top it all off she has been getting her top two teeth in so she's been mommy's girl lately (well 10 times more) but there is nothing wrong with that. Breanna isn't really sick but she did start coughing again last night and it was horrible. She has been taking medicine also and hasn't coughed like that for awhile but for some reason she woke up at 1am and coughed like crazy, poor girl.
The daycare kids are another story. They are all sick and just getting us and everyone else sick. Three kids have croupy coughs and have to do breathing treatments, one baby had RSV (which made me nervous about Sophia), the others just cough and sneeze everywhere. And of course they don't stay home while they are sick, the parents still bring them even if they aren't suppose to. And yes I have had a talk with them. Now I found out one of the boys parents are sick, his mom has bronchitious (SP?) and his dad has mono. Ugh, it just keeps going around in circles all the time. My house has never been this sick but this year has been terrible. I have been lucky and have been fine...I just kind of lost my voice for a couple of days. It's still early but I hope I don't catch anything.
We'll I better work on getting the kids feeling better....once it goes away I hope it don't come back!
