Well my 25th birthday was this last saturday (January 31st) and to celebrate it I went with a girlfriend to the Brad Paisley concert. For those who know me, I love country and would never turn down a good concert! Well it was a busy saturday and a beautiful saturday for that fact. I drove to Omaha, without getting lost I might add and met my friend to grab supper before. We decided to go to The Rice Bowl...a Chinese place. When we pulled up I was kind of weary of it because it was small and didn't look that great. I figured I would give it a shot...plus I love Chinese. The waitress got me to try something new (forgot what it was called :) ) and I loved it. It was probably the best Chinese food I have ever had! I will definately be going back there, next time I'll take my Chinese food junkie husband.

After we ate we decided to head to the concert. I was so excited it was the first concert of the year and I need to get out and have a good time. Darius Rucker (Hootie!) and Dierks Bentely opened for Brad Paisley. Of course Darius didn't play for that long which was expected but he was really good. I don't know many of his songs since he just turned country but he has an awesome voice!! Next was Dierks....I was so excited for him. I have seen him in concert before so I knew how awesome he was. I stood, sang, and danced the whole time he performed. I loved him!! He is such a good performer and being good looking just makes it better! :) I guess you can say after he performed I was ready to leave. LOL. I have never seen Brad Paisley in concert so I was kind of excited. After about 10 minutes of him performing I wanted to leave. He was so boring to me. He would sing for awhile then play his guitar forever....then sing...then play. It just got to me so I decided to sit down since my back was killing me anyways. I wasn't impressed with him at all.....so I just listened and text a friend the whole 2 hours he performed. Rude, I know. There are a few songs of his I really like but others just get kind of annoying after awhile. So I guess you are wandering why I even went?? Well I really wanted to see Dierks plus I wanted to be able to say that I saw the boring Brad Paisley....!

Once the concert was over I was tired, had heartburn, and my back hurt. Even tho it was late I still decided to drive back to Schuyler and stay at my parents where the girls were. I did have fun and a good birthday but like I said I was alittle disappointed with Brad's performance. The next concert I have to look forward to is Kenny!! He's coming back in May and my sisters and I are stoked. Now that's a good concert!!
